Research Institute for Health Sciences and Infectious Disease Unit, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University organized AIDS Day 2017 activity on 1 December 2017 at central hall of Chalerm Prabaramee Building, Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital. In addition to HIV/AIDS exhibition, free HIV testing and counseling (by physicians), and quiz games, the discussion on “Check…to move on”, focusing on the importance of HIV testing was also provided. By learning the test result, those found infected could get the quick treatment in order to live a healthy and normal life, while those uninfected could learn about the risk, prevention and how to live with infected people properly. The AIDS Day activity aims to reach people of all sexes and ages in order to help reduce HIV transmission.
