Study design:
Cross – sectional study. The evaluation of pesticide exposure organophosphate group which are analyzed the amount of dialkylphosphates (DAPs) by gaschromatography – Flame photometric detector (GC-FPD) and blood tests using reactive paper. Urine tests for kidney function use reagent strips for urinalysis (Combistix SG). Analysis of chemical contaminants in soil, water, air, sample local agricultural products. The data is collected by interviews to study the behavioral and environmental factors that affect the risk of exposure to pesticides.
Study objectives:
1. Study the risk of pesticide organophosphate group on public health and the environment in the Northern, Thailand.
2. Study and develop risk management of pesticides organophosphate group.

Significance:
Impacts to public health caused by the use of chemical pesticides that is caused by the residues in agricultural products environment e.g. soil, water, air, animals both terrestrial and aquatic animals and accumulate in the food chain. Which eventually cause negative impact on public health which is consumer’s users of chemicals and officials related to chemical. Also present affect economic consequences e.g. trade barriers between countries because the residues of chemicals in food that is agricultural. A study of the risk of chemical pesticides which can lead to management practices to reduce the impact on public health in the future.
