Research objectives
1. To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of necrotizing fasciitis wound treatment between alginate silver dressing and conventional treatment in a view of hospital.
2. To compare the quality of life and complacency of patients who were treated the necrotizing fasciitis wound with silver dressing and conventional treatment.

Study design
Necrotizing Fasciitis is a disease that an infected patient has a high chance to be death. Some said that the chance of death was more than 50% and the wound was very slowly recover. So, this study was to find the treatment which will give the fastest wound recovery. A randomized controlled trial was used to compare the treatment between silver dressing named Askina Calgitrol Silver of B. Braun company and the standard treatment with saline or povidine which was widely used in the present. A time to the wound recovery and ready for the new skin were recorded and compared for the best results.
