Study design
It is well known that there is less cardiovascular disease or paralysis amongst the eskimo population. Many studies found that though the eskimo were the heavy smokers and have a high body weight, they still had less stroke. This was due to their eating deep sea fish behaviour. Deep sea fish have fish oil that it was known to reduce the incidence of  heart disease and stroke. However, there is no study that reveal the relationships between patients with PAD and fish oil intake. So, this will be the first study to study that. This is a crossectional study. Blood of patients with and without PAD from Suandok hospital, Chiangmai University, Chiangmai will be drawn to examine the red blood cell Omega 3 Index.
