Laboratory Quality Assurance/Quality Control

Clinical Laboratory has established several means of quality assurance. The CL participates in the Thai national laboratory certification program, sponsored by the Thai Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). In addition, Clinical Laboratory has been taken part in College of American Pathologists (CAP) proficiency scheme for Viral marker, Mycobacteriology, Chlamydia/Neisseria  (CT/NG), Syphilis. It also participates in One World Accuracy External Quality Assessment for HIV Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Parasitology and Microscopy. Apart from that, the CL has joined the Leucocyte Immunophenotyping Scheme of UK NEQAS in the United Kingdom as well as HIV Drug resistance and HIV-1 RNA (Viral load) Scheme of VQA in USA.
