The Research Institute for Health Sciences held an academic conference on “Translation research in Plasma Technology”
On 21 May 2018, Non-Communicable Diseases Research Unit (NCD Research Unit) held an academic conference on “Translation research in Plasma Technology” for physicists, manufacturers and technology distributors, medical personnel,veterinaries and chronic wound specialists. The lecture was provided by Professor Kittipan Rerkasem, M.D., head of Center for Applied Health Sciences Research and researchers of NCD Research Unit, exchanging useful experiences and information for future study and research conduct. The conference was held at the 4th floor meeting room of Research Institute for Health Sciences, Chiang Mai University. Bio Plasma BPJI demonstration with the real wounds was also provided for attendees to learn about cold plasma medical technologies used with patients with chronic wounds at a women’s surgery department no. 3, 8th floor and a men’s surgery department no. 2, 7th floor of Sujinno Building, Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital.
