During 6-8 April 2018, Non-communicable Diseases Research Unit, Center for Applied Health Science Research, Research Institute for Health Sciences, led by Prof. Dr. Kittipan Rerkasem, head of the center, provided mobile services for vascular access and Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) testing for patients with chronic renal failure who come for the service at the hospitals in 3 Northern provinces as Lampang, Phrae and Nan. Many people have come to get the service. There are patients with abnormal vascular access. Some also had peripheral artery disease with high risk for chronic wound, infection and amputation respectively. The team provided testing and useful counseling for their daily life practice.
