On 12-15 May 2018, Non-Communicable Diseases Research Unit, Center for Applied Health Sciences Research, Research Institute for Health Sciences, led by Prof. Dr. Kittipan Rerkasem, head of NCD Research Unit, provided mobile services for vascular access and Ankle –Branchial Index testing for patients with chronic renal failure who used to be treated at the hospitals in Uttaradit, Phetchabun and Sukhothai. Many patients joined this activity, including those with abnormal PE. Some patients had peripheral artery disease with high risk for chronic wound and infection which might lead to amputation respectively. The research team provided testing and helpful counseling for their daily life practice.
