During 27 July – 10 August 2018, the research team from the US. and Chulalongkorn University had joined a meeting and activities under “Impact of prenatal insecticide exposure on neurodevelopmental trajectories in a Thai birth cohort: building exposure science and neurodevelopmental research capacity in Thailand” or SAWASDEE Study of which Dr. Tippawan Prapamontol, PhD. is the principal investigator for the 2nd year.

 

On 27 July 2018, the team had a meeting to follow up on the study progress at a 2nd floor meeting room, RIHES building 3. Attendees were Dr. Parinya Panuwet, PhD., co-researcher from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, Atlanta, USA; Dr. Tippawan Prapamontol, PhD; Assoc. Prof. Ampica Mangklabruks, MD; Dr. Namtip Srirat, PhD; Dr, Tanyaporn Kerdnoi, PhD; Dr. Warangkana Naksen, PhD; Ms. Kanyapak Kohsuwan, project coordinator; and Mr. Kritsanachai Keawthit, project coordinator assistant.

 

During 9-10 August 2018, Prof. Nancy Fiedler, Rutgers University Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute, New Jersey, USA; Dr. Parinya Panuwet, Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, Atlanta, USA; and Assist. Prof. Dr. Panrapee Suttiwan, Director of Faculty psychology, Chulalongkorn University had visited the study sites in Fang and Jom Thong districts of Chiang Mai respectively for preparation of child development evaluation room and postpartum participants’ home visits.
