On 29 May 2019, the Research Institute for Health Sciences by Center for AIDS and STDs organized an academic conference on “Progress in Prevention, Care and Non-Infectious Diseases in HIV Infected People”.

The conference topic is “Hot issue, you’d better know” at Tippiman Room, Chiang Mai Grandview Hotel & Convention center, Muang district, Chiang Mai.

The presentation topics include “Advance in HIV care for PLWH” by Prof. Khuanchai Supparatpinyo, M.D., RIHES Director, “Chronic non-communicable diseases in PLWH” by Prof. Kittipan Rerkasem MD, PhD, and “Guidelines for HIV Prevention” by Kwanhathai Keawpuwat, M.D.

Panel Discussion include “Same-Day ART” by professional nurse representative, with Nuntisa Chotirosniramit, M.D. as a moderator; and discussion regarding the studies being conducted at RIHES by the study Principle Investigators and Coordinators.
