The project has installed air quality detectors or PM 2.5 sensors in 40 sites in Lamphun, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son to expand surveillance network and allow people in other Northern provinces to check the air quality which might impact their health due to haze, after the pilot project in Chiang Mai.
By 8 April 2021, all air quality detectors have been provided and installed in all targeted 227 sites; 185 in Chiang Mai, 21 in Chiang Rai, 12 in Mae Hong Son and 9 in Lamphun. The air quality data is now available at https://www.ntaqhi.info/.
