The Research Institute for Health Sciences collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine and Science and the Technology Research Institute, Chiang Mai University organized the 2nd “Comprehensive Sex Education Training” for health leaders under the project “Society of Intelligent and Sustainable Sexual Healthy Chiang Mai University” to provide knowledge for personnel and psychologists to develop the potentials of personnel and staff in CMU Student Quality Development Unit concerning gender diversity, sexual health and mental health with Dr. Amaraporn Reukasem, M.D. as a chair. Various speakers with expertise in gender and diversity were invited to provide knowledge on sex advice to teenagers, stigmatization in Thai society, LGBTQ+ fundamental rights and situations in Thailand, sexually transmitted diseases among sexual diversity groups, drug use, sexual stimulant diversity, and mental health related to sexual health. The event was held during 26-27 May 2022 at the ibis Styles Hotel.
