During 1 – 6 February 2025, a team from the School of Health Sciences Research, along with researchers from the Center for Applied Health Sciences Research, Research Institute for Health Sciences, Chiang Mai University, visited Japan for research discussion on health sciences with Associate Professor Dr. Koji Nakano from the Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu University, Fukuoka.
During the visit, they attended a presentation on research projects by master’s students from Kyushu University and exchanged ideas on potential future joint research funding opportunities between the two universities



The team also visited Associate Professor Ryoichi Ishimatsu from the Department of Applied Physics, University of Fukui, Fukui to discuss on future joint health sciences research funding. They also visited Dr. Sumet Yaduang, a research assistant from the Center for Non-Communicable Diseases and Environmental Health, CMU RIHES, who has been conducting short-term research at the University of Fukui.
