During 7 – 10 April 2025, Dr. Myo Zin Oo, a researcher from the Non-communicable Disease Research Unit, Research Institute for Health Sciences, Chiang Mai University, participated in the IDF World Diabetes Congress 2025 in Bangkok.

Dr. Myo Zin Oo presented E-Poster titled “Polypharmacy as a Key Factor in Glycemic Control Challenges Among Diabetic Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease”, the research conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Kittiphan Rerkkesom, RIHES Deputy Director. The research emphasizes the role of polypharmacy in controlling blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes and chronic kidney disease with proposed integrated care approaches to increase treatment efficiency. Dr. Myo’s participation in this conference reflects RIHES commitment in promoting quality public health research and creating international collaboration.
